Wendy Hope's editorial that appeared exclusively in Fashion Gone Rogue was inspired by the extraordinary light of this past frigid wintery mix as viewed through a window. Using multi-directional lighting, color blending and special effects including fake snow and slowly dripping water, Wendy balanced various elements to create the feel of a cold stormy evening while in studio. This created an exciting result as each shot was unique and dependent on both where the camera focused and the random patterns of the water drops.

The model Shen moved with emotion and grace. She perfectly captured a quiet and deep feeling of solitude and reflection.

The stellar makeup looks were created by Lucky Smyler. Together Wendy and Lucky chose to work with metallics, whites and reflective glitters to keep the looks consistent with the feeling of snow and rain. As a final touch, white glitter was painted on the tips of the model's fingernails to give the appearance that she had dipped them in snow.
